Bruce Dean received an MFA from Otis Art institute in 1974. He has worked as an exhibiting abstract artist, editorial, corporate and advertising illustrator and international poster artist for over 40 years. He has taught advanced painting at Mt St. Mary’s College, Game Art at Otis College of Art and Design, and Art Exploration at California State University Northridge. As an illustrator he received silver medals from The Society of Illustrators and numerous awards of merit from national and international publications.
Tyler Dean received his PhD in English Literature from the University of California at Irvine in 2014. He is a college professor, specializing in Victorian literature and has taught at numerous Southern California colleges including Whittier, Pasadena City College, and UC Irvine. He has also worked as a freelance writer, tutor, and as an off-Broadway actor in the critically acclaimed “Fools in Love.” He runs the gothic news aggregator, “Everything is Gothic,” and the etsy paper-craft shop, “Gothick Sentiments.”
